Implementation of Mandatory Semester Abroad
An analytical recommendations report that argued to a specific audience, Department of Education, that a mandatory semester abroad for all college students should not only be implemented, but it should be a requirement for graduation.

Be honest, if you were given the opportunity to study abroad at no
additional cost to your original college tuition wouldn’t you take it?
Well, I think that opportunity should not only be given to all students
but it should also be a mandatory requirement to graduate college.

This research recommendation report was broken into steps:
-
The development of my thesis
-
Creating a proposal
-
Researching my thesis and analyzing journal articles
-
Interviewing students who studied abroad
-
Writing up a research report based on my findings
The report found that studying abroad sets up students to be more independent, self-reliant, culturally aware, and harder workers. One of the biggest takeaways from my research is that students who study abroad are 97% more likely to be hired within one year of graduating compared to students who do not study abroad.
